Servicing our Latio...

salam and good day to all,

i sent our latio to its next cycle of servicing at nissan service centre. i was greeted kindly and was asked for complaints that i might have before moving on to the usual service check-ups. after telling them about the fan-belt creaking when engine start, the left-signal running too fast, rear boot not functioning well and the condition of the tyres (whether they need to be changed), he started to run-down all the necessary checks for my latio.

i asked him whether what is the price for a new tyre these days. he answered that it would cost me more than rm250 per tyre and he suggested to me to get my tyres else where where you can get cheaper for better brands. i might bring my car back to nissan for alignment-and-balancing checks after the tyres were installed.

thus, after a few hours waiting at the service centre, almost all problems of the car had been fixed. the rear boot issue was not fixed as the internal motor had broken and needed to be replaced. unfortunately, the replacement parts was not in-stocked thus they must order it for me. the part would arrive at the service centre this monday.

i left straight thinking i had been away from home for almost four hours now. i quickly had the tyres installed at nearby seri kembangan good-year tyre centre and rushed home. i much prefer to have my family with me when i out of the house on weekends.

the tyre needed to be aligned again by nissan. i might have them checked next week together along with the installation of the internal motor for the car's rear boot locking system.
