The Latio has returned...

Salam and hi to all,

Nissan representative called me one fine afternoon. He said that our Nissan Latio was fixed and ready to be picked up. In my heart, I prayed that our Latio would be returned to its original glory though logically it would not be so. After its serious accident some time last year, the car had been giving us a few in-cabin noises and other minor 'imperfections'.

We went to pick up our Latio as soon as we had time to spare. In the same time, my wife was not feeling very well. We had to go to a clinic somewhere in Serdang to have her checked. She was having serious coughs and uneasy feeling/weak body. There were many patients queuing for appointments/treatment at the clinic. We had to wait for quite some time before she was admitted to the doctor's room for her medical check-up.

After that, straight we went to the Puchong Nissan service centre situated at Jalan Serindit 3. The car had been waiting for its owner since the day before and it was 'lying' there shined and pretty. As a complimentary gesture, all Nissan cars will be washed and cleaned after each service. The payment however was a bit hefty for us since there were many parts had to replaced. However, we did received quite a commendable discounts from Nissan Puchong which we are thankful and happy. We paid the agreeable amount and the key of our car was handed to us. Hurrily we went to the car anticipating the best (not the worse). After the engine started, I switched on the air-conditioning system and to my relief, cooled air rushed through the air vent as quickly as the car could pushed them out.

We were happy and felt somehow our old trusted car had come back to us, ready to carry out its duty as it would when its keys were handed to us for the first time many years ago.

We are still experiencing very minimal in-cabin noises near the dashboard area. However, the car was wrecked once and we understood that we could never get to experience the car as it was when it was in its prime days.
